This is an AU Mei that takes into account all the easter eggs in Ecopoint Antarctica. The ice block in an inaccessible room. The "Chess Mage" computer with a whiskey bottle next to it, and a very dead Dr. MacReady in a malfunctioning hibernation pod.
She is the only survivor of Ecopoint Antarctica.
She has been in cryostasis for 8 years and she has emerged to find her companions dead, save for her small robot companion, Snowball.
She was last seen heading out into the open with Snowball....but how could one person make it to civilization?

Note: This shapeshifter is very young and inexperienced. It has taken on the personality of its copy and is living its life as Dr. Mei-ling Zhou. It is still highly infectious and will avoid close personal contact because of this. It prefers to talk its way out of things and will only lash out when backed into a corner, but when it does it is shockingly violent.
